An Instacart employee is accused of stealing a pet rabbit from a North Carolina lady’s yard after delivering groceries to a neighbor, native media stories.

Ebony Williams informed WFMY that the incident occurred after her neighbor ordered groceries from Instacart, and that she caught the theft on her Ring doorbell digital camera.

Within the video, the employee could be seen pulling up behind a parked automobile, exiting his automobile, taking the rabbit from Williams’ entrance yard, and placing it in his automobile.

The Greensboro Police Division confirmed in an e-mail to McClatchy Information that the incident was reported on Feb. 13 and is at the moment being investigated.

Williams informed WFMY that the rabbit, Pepper, was exterior as a result of she sometimes needs him to get recent air and sunshine.

“Why would [someone] take a rabbit of all issues?” Williams mentioned, in keeping with WFMY.

In line with an incident report supplied by the Greensboro Police Division, Pepper was final seen by her proprietor at 12:30 p.m. and her disappearance was reported to police later that evening.

Instacart addressed the incident in a press release supplied to McClatchy Information.
