A video exhibits a child giraffe taking its first steps on the Santa Barbara Zoo in California final week.

Zookeepers mentioned the Masai giraffe began to stroll inside an hour of being born on Jan. 19. 

This footage additionally confirmed the new child male giraffe, named Raymie, bonding together with his mom, Adia.

The zoo mentioned Adia gave start to Raymie, who’s her second calf, at 1:55 within the morning. Inside 45 minutes, the younger giraffe was standing up and seemed to be “sturdy and wholesome,” the zoo wrote.
