A 39-year-old lady has been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after video footage was posted on-line displaying a hamster being eaten. The distressing clip was uploaded to Fb and allegedly confirmed the rodent being eaten in change for crack cocaine.
The lady is proven first supposedly killing the poor creature which belonged to her daughter being swallowing it down. Lincolnshire Police confirmed a girl from Grantham, Lincs., was arrested on Thursday as a part of an RSPCA investigation.
A pressure spokesperson mentioned: “We’ve arrested a 39-year-old lady on suspicion of cruelty to animals following a distressing video which was posted on social media depicting an act involving a hamster. The Grantham lady was arrested by our officers yesterday (June 23) following an investigation led by the RSPCA.
“She has been launched underneath investigation, and we are going to proceed to help the RSPCA with their investigation.”
A spokesperson for the RSPCA, mentioned: “That is a particularly upsetting video and we’d prefer to reassure the general public that we’re investigating and dealing carefully with the police.
