CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Backyard introduced it’s paying tribute to Betty White on what would have been her a hundredth birthday by naming its month-old little blue penguin “Rose.”

Rose was the title of the character that White performed on the Golden Ladies sitcom from 1985 to 1992.
“Betty White was an enormous Zoo supporter and animal lover,” stated Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “I had the pleasure of creating her acquaintance years in the past when she attended a Cincinnati Zoo fundraiser. We launched her to our first ambassador cheetah, Angel.”

Rose is wholesome and on monitor to maneuver to the little blue penguin habitat quickly, based on fowl crew head keeper Cody Sowers.
The zoo stated she’s going to be a part of the colony of over penguins, and guests will get to see her when the climate will get hotter.
