Couple Indicted For Lethal Lodge Capturing, Warrants Present Couple Bought Offended Over Lacking Rabbit


CHARLOTTE — An area couple is indicted for a lethal taking pictures in Northwest Charlotte.   Police arrested 20-year-old Devion Brown, and 22-year-old Tasjah Williams after a taking pictures that killed 55-year-old Jayeshbhai Patel, and injured one other clerk. Police say the couple was staying on the Econo Lodge Lodge on Glenwood Drive on June eleventh.

In keeping with arrest warrants, the suspects bought upset over a pet rabbit that was lacking from their room.  Police say surveillance video exhibits the couple confronting the clerks.  They are saying Brown pulled out a gun and shot Patel and his co-worker.  Patel died on the hospital.

A grand jury indicted Brown for homicide and tried homicide.  Williams was indicted for felony assist and abetting homicide.
