YOUNGSTOWN – Josh Ryhal of Hubbard gained Greatest in Present of the Space Artists Annual exhibition, which opened Sunday on the Butler Institute of American Artwork.

Ryhal’s successful submission was a portrait dubbed “You” created with a ballpoint pen.

‘Rocky Horror Image Present’ at Penguin Metropolis

YOUNGSTOWN – On Saturday, Oct. 29, at 9 p.m., Penguin Metropolis Beer together with Insurgent Rescue Ranch and Absolut Vodka will display the 1975 traditional cult movie “The Rocky Horror Image Present” with viewers participation on its 300-inch display. Admission is $5.

Insurgent Rescue will promote the social gathering favor prop record baggage to take part within the movie. Proceeds from sale of baggage goes to Insurgent Rescue Ranch, a nonprofit animal rescue. DJ Spruce will play Halloween tunes beginning at 7 p.m. and following the film. Absolut Vodka drink specials all through the evening, giveaways, and a dressing up contest.

Zombie Crawl, Trunk or Deal with in Lisbon

LISBON, Ohio – The Lisbon Space Chamber of Commerce’s annual Zombie Crawl and Trunk or Deal with will happen Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2 to five p.m. downtown and on the Columbiana County Courthouse car parking zone. 

The Zombie Crawl will begin at 2 p.m. Face painters shall be on the Gazebo at 1 p.m. to arrange members.

Trunk or Deal with will happen within the courthouse car parking zone. There shall be a free haunted home zombie sundaes.

Prizes shall be awarded for the best-decorated trunks and finest zombies.

Lit Youngstown Poetry Studying

YOUNGSTOWN – Lit Youngstown’s First Wednesday Reader Collection Presents poet and fiction author Kelly Hambly of Kent and poet Jimmy Sutman of Youngstown at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at Cleaning soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion St.

The free occasion, hosted by Denise Sculli, shall be adopted by an open mic session.

Literary Journal Presents Fundraiser

WARREN – Olney Journal, an unbiased literary journal in print and on-line that’s headquartered in Warren, will current a fundraiser from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Nov. 12, at Havana Home in Niles.

Admission is free. The night will embody stay music and the opening of an artwork exhibition, with all items donated by native artists.

Trendy Strategies Brewery has produced an unique beer for the occasion referred to as “Twist The Axe.”
