Three dogs, one rabbit killed in North Carolina home fireplace

CONCORD, N.C. (WJZY) — Three dogs and a rabbit have been killed throughout a Harmony home fireplace this weekend, the Harmony Hearth Division stated Sunday.

Crews responded round 4:30 p.m. Saturday to a house on Rocky River Street. The fireplace was managed inside 22 minutes, fireplace officers stated.

Throughout a search of the house firefighters positioned three dogs and a pet rabbit that had died because of smoke inhalation.

The reason for the fireplace stays underneath investigation. The household has been displaced and is being assisted by the American Crimson Cross.
